Nestled among hundreds of acres of rolling vineyards is the original Kalyra Winery. With some of the most sweeping views in the Santa Barbara wine country, Kalyra Winery offers a laid-back beachcomber’s vibe to its tasting room and gift shop. You’ll be served from the bar featured in the ‘Sideways’ movie, and enjoy browsing the extensive Kalyra Boutique, located next to the tasting bar. Its full-length deck and side lawn offer a fantastic, tranquil picnic spot for your full tasting day as well.

Established in 2005, Demetria Estate is a family owned winery. Our goal is to produce wines of distinction and character rivaling those of the world’s greatest estates. Our wines are artfully crafted to showcase the unique growing conditions of the Santa Ynez Valley and Sta. Rita Hills. We believe that low yields, sustainable and biodynamic farming practices, and gentle winemaking produce wines of exceptional quality.

Greek heritage

Demetria Estate grew out of the desire of owners John and Sandra Zahoudanis to continue a family legacy connecting his Greek heritage with their family’s future. John grew up on a modest family farm at the base of Mount Olympus in Greece. The unparalleled beauty and Mediterranean feel of the Demetria Estate reminded John of his homeland and became the perfect location to carry on the family tradition of farming and careful stewardship of the land.

Brander Vineyard

At Brander Vineyard, our founder, Fred Brander, gained a passion for the wines of France in the early 1970’s. Shortly thereafter he recognized this location as an ideal microclimate to produce top-quality Bordeaux varietals.

Throughout his experience he has dedicated himself with fanatical fervor to make exceptional block designates of estate Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Therefore, pushing the quality envelope for Bordeaux style wines in Santa Barbara County.

Fess Parker Vineyard

A Premier Viticultural Region

The Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard grew out of Fess’ vision for the promise of Santa Barbara County as a premier viticultural region.

Established in 1989, the family immediately began planting some of the county’s most renowned vineyards. Outstanding fruit sources coupled with skilled winemaking – in the past decade both Eli Parker and later Blair Fox, were named Winemaker of the Year by the San Francisco International Wine Competition – are at the core of delivering wines of the highest quality to our consumer.

Winery

The winery is located on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. It is surrounded by pastureland and vineyard. The views from the tasting room that take in the majestic San Rafael mountain range. The vibe in the tasting room is casual and friendly and the grounds are a wonderful place to relax and enjoy our world class wines in one of the prettiest spots in Santa Barbara wine country.

Whether planning a wedding, a milestone birthday or anniversary, or a corporate retreat, our guests and their enjoyment is a great source of pride and reward for us. Our estate provides numerous venues for private events; some guests enjoy celebrating at our old, historic barn, while others choose to gather under one of our expansive, regal oak trees. Still others like to celebrate in our elegant barrel or bottle aging rooms by candlelight.

Epiphany wines – Los Olivos Winery, finds its identity and passion in the production of esoteric Rhone-based varietals and blends from some of the finest vineyards in California.

Founded by Eli Parker, Epiphany wines was at first intended as a creative outlet for the then adventurous winemaking son of Fess Parker.

Transformed into a leading, contemporary producer of Rhone-based and esoteric varietal wines from Santa Barbara County, Epiphany is a meaningful representation of the second generation of the Parker family name. Epiphany continues their dedication to ultra-premium wine production on the Central Coast.

Taste Rhône Varietals in the Heart of Los Olivos

Discover Epiphany, one of Santa Barbara County’s premier producers of Rhône varietal wines. Located in the heart of Los Olivos, our tasting room features an expansive garden area perfect for a seated wine tasting experience.

Epiphany Wines – The Experience

At Epiphany, wine tasting is led by our knowledgeable and friendly wine educators. Choose between a 90-minute Classic ($22) or Discovery ($28) flight, or enjoy wine by the glass or bottle. While we accommodate walk-ins whenever possible, reservations are highly recommended.

Established in 2000, Epiphany is renowned for its boutique Rhône varietal wines. We celebrate the thrill of discovery, highlighting favorites like Grenache and Syrah alongside lesser-known gems like Counoise, Marsanne, Roussanne, and more.

Our sparkling wine program, Fesstivity, launched in 2015, showcases the handcrafted quality of méthode champenoise winemaking. We source all fruit for this project from the Sta. Rita Hills.

Enjoy a 90-minute wine experience, seated in the scenic garden at Epiphany. The Bubble Shack is open Friday to Sunday.
