Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM start time
Additional Work: Occasional Sundays and some holidays as needed
Overtime: May occur before/after shift or on additional days (holiday pay determined by the staffing agency)
Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail‑oriented associates to pick and pack lottery game orders with 100% accuracy. This is a fast‑paced but low‑stress environment with strong team culture. Employees will be trained by an assigned coach on proper picking and packing procedures. Strong performers may be considered for permanent placement.
Essential Duties:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Meet productivity: 25 orders/hour individually or 50/hour as part of a team
- Learn the locations of up to 50 different lottery games at the assigned station
- Use RF scanners to attach games to packages, apply labels, and include manifests
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, crushing cardboard, and other small duties
- Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Lift up to 70 lbs occasionally (infrequent but possible)
- Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and time management
Schedule Expectations:
- Mandatory on‑time arrival at 8:15 AM
- Mondays are mandatory extended days until all orders are completed (may be as late as ~6:45 PM)
- Occasional Sundays may be required
- Some holidays may require scheduled work depending on business needs (holiday pay determined by agency)
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand and perform warehouse tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to accept coaching and work well with a team
- Must pass the New York State Lottery background check
- Forklift operation is not permitted until employee becomes permanent
