THE PLACE – Westerly Wines – The relationship between farmer and vintner is vital in our pursuit of crafting the best achievable wine from the best possible fruit.  Our wines from Westerly begin in the vineyards of small family-owned growers.  Through farming and winemaking at the highest potential level, we illustrate the diverse viability of the Santa Barbara County wine region.

Our pursuit at Westerly is to express the unique characteristics and individuality of the preeminent vineyards in Santa Barbara County.

Founded by Gretchen Voelcker, Luna Hart Wines is a boutique wine company specializing in small batch, handcrafted wines in the Santa Ynez Valley. Gretchen makes select wines in which she explores the techniques and nuances that continue to stoke her passion for wine.
Aiming to work with organic, biodynamic or sustainable fruit, Gretchen seeks the highest quality grapes. With her winemaking style, she discovers vineyards that truly represent a unique terrior and produce grapes that hold varietally true.
With careful attention to the fruit in the vineyard and tasting daily throughout fermentation, Gretchen produces high quality, fruit forward wines with bright acidity. Her hope is to highlight the grape’s origin, the vintage and variety. She focuses on producing varietal wines from her favorite grapes that spur her to learn more about winemaking and to showcase them more purely and more precisely. Gretchen never turns down the opportunity to experiment and welcomes interesting projects.

Ballard Canyon

Established in 2018, Piazza Family Wines is a small family owned vineyard and winery located in Ballard Canyon.

Great wines are not made in the cellar but in the vineyard. We intentionally aim to showcase the unique qualities of place with the wines; hand crafting them to represent the soil, climate and varietal for each vintage. With a focus on the vineyard, and following organic farming practices. This ensures each harvest yields the best possible grapes for that vintage and gives a true representation of their unique Ballard Canyon terroir, all while respecting the land and nourishing it for future generations.

Winemaker Gretchen Voelcke

In the winery, Winemaker Gretchen Voelcker focuses on minimal intervention and allows the grapes to speak for themselves. She listens to the clues of harvest and picks the grapes at optimal times for balance and complexity.

We take our name from the “Legend of Nojoqui” (pronounced Naw-ho-wee), an indigenous incarnation of Romeo & Juliet. An hour’s drive north of beautiful Santa Barbara will land you here at Babcock Winery in the heart of California’s hottest Pinot Noir country, the Sta. Rita Hills. We have plenty of space and are family & pet-on-leash friendly. Parking is never an issue, and with our newly planted oak trees flourishing, the property continues to become more stunning each year.

After 4 decades of passion for our craft, we continue to focus on producing world class wines from Sta. Rita Hills grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Grenache, along with sourcing an array of new & eclectic grape varieties now being grown in all the nooks & crannies of Santa Barbara County.

Beckmen Vineyards

Beckmen Vineyards is known as one of North America’s premier producers of Rhône varietal wines since our establishment in 1994.

A family owned and operated vineyard and winery, we use estate grown fruit from our certified biodynamic Purisima Mountain Vineyard, located in the limestone laden hills of the Ballard Canyon AVA.

We invite you to sample our distinctive wines at our rustic tasting room, nestled on the Beckmen Estate Vineyard next to our winery, just two miles south of Los Olivos. Beckmen Vineyards’ wines are crafted exclusively from the 150 acres of grapevine grown on our two vineyards, by a team dedicated to creating high quality, authentic, delicious wines.

Wine Tasting

We specialize in Syrah and Grenache, as well as Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, and Marsanne. We welcome visitors daily from 11am – 5pm. We’re off the beaten track, but once you find us, you will be rewarded with delectable wines, amazing views, and a wonderful winery experience!

Beckman Wine Tasting

Over 20 years ago, our Founding Partner, Thomas Stolpman, discovered what we believe to be one of the greatest viticulture sites on earth. Hidden in the hills of California’s Central Coast, on a rare Limestone outcropping and unobstructed from the Pacific Ocean wind, this unique land is ideally suited to grow Syrah and Roussanne grapes. We are committed to preserving this natural environment for our vines through natural farming, dry farming, and sustainable employment. In the winery, we prefer native fermentation and minimal manipulation.
Dedicated to sensible farming and wine making, we believe that we can create natural, vibrant, site-specific wines, with a focus unique to Ballard Canyon AVA, California.

Anna and David deLaski started Solminer to fulfill a dream – to create sincere and well-balanced wines showcasing grapes from their 5-acre organic vineyard in Los Olivos, CA. The couple share a passion for elegant, food-friendly wines utilizing small lots of interesting varietals including Grüner Veltliner, Blaufränkisch and Syrah. They take great care in considering what goes (and doesn’t go) into the soils, barrels and bottles. The wines are simply made using classic winemaking practices resulting in minimal intervention and maximum flavors of terroir!

BWC was founded in 2005 by Master Sommelier Paolo Barbieri. Prior to 2005, Paolo started making very small lots in his garage in Las Vegas. This eventually evolved into forming Barbieri Wine Company to set out to produce his own wine. The objective was to produce Rhone Varietals from top vineyards located in Santa Barbara County. The approach was simple: work with great growers and use minimalistic wine making techniques without heavy oak influence. Before and during the development of Barbieri Wine Company, Paolo worked in the restaurant business for over 30 years managing numerous world class wine lists from Europe and later in the United States exposing him to the best wines in the world, which ultimately shaped his approach for his own wines. During this time, Erin Kempe joined Paolo, and together they continued to fulfill their passion for wine making and developing hand-crafted boutique wines.

Spear Vineyards & Winery is a family owned, farmed and certified organic vineyard nestled in the heart of the Santa Rita Hills Appellation. At Spear, our hope is to craft wines that transparently communicate our estate vineyard’s voice with the utmost lucidity and sincerity.

Section Wines was established in 2014, and specializes in Italian, Bordeaux, and Rhône varietals grown in Santa Barbara County and surrounding AVAs. Marco’s winemaking is founded in the style of the old world, yet his approach to branding is quite modern – intertwining his love for music and art with the beautiful flavors of his handcrafted wines.
